The world that I come from and how it is shaping my dreams is quite simple really. It started in sixth grade when we were required to play an instrument. I picked the alto saxophone and later learned to play every saxophone which in reality, really didn’t effect my dreams, but It helped. I continued with it to middle school and had a strict but effective teacher named Mr.Wagner. He engraved in my brain how to count beats and how to use them to make music sound good.

Another thing happened in middle school, I found rap music which I became addicted to, I got addicted to it and it became my “favorite” music. Summer of eighth grade my step dad asked me why I like that music, and if it was really me that liked the music. I realized that I was influenced by society and pop culture to listen to that music, and while I still enjoy it, I went found music of my own to enjoy.
Trap music is a electronic based music that I really enjoy. It's hard to explain, but the best is how it's similar to a story plot. It consists of exposition plot (the beginning), rising action, the climax, the falling action, and the denouement (the end). There's so much diversity of this music genre as well so I can listen according to my mood.

Here's where my dreams and Mr.Wagner comes into play. I want to make my own music which doesn't seem too difficult for me. Luckily for me My music teacher taught me how to hear, count, and beats which lead me to break it down to a science, in fact I broke down all music to science. There are two types of sounds that you listen too, organic and nonorganic sounds, and depending on the music that you listen those sounds differentiate. If you listen to pop, rap, country, techno, trap etc. it consists of mainly drum beats, I guarantee 5/10 songs that you listen too will have drum beats and other noises that are computer generated, or nonorganic. So I learned how to create good beats and basic songs consisting of organic and inorganic sounds.

So I've been recording organic sounds as simple as me tapping my fingers on a table to a door closing and opening. Just waiting to get my own equipment and to really enjoy making music. The community and my family have really shaped my dreams, to my music teacher leading me to break down music to a science, and to my stepdad opening my eyes to music and, breaking free of pop culture's music influence, and with that I created the dream to make my own music.
