On May 9th 2001 I was born in Ventura California, and i have lived my whole life in Casitas Springs. I went to Oak View PreSchool when i was three years old and after I went to Sunset Elementary until i was 11. Then I went to De Anza Middle school and now i am at Foothill Technology.
Outside of school I fished and biked with my friends. I have fished ever since i was five years old and have loved it ever since I caught my first fish. I started out with a twenty dollar fishing pole from Big Five fish. Now i have over six rod and reel and I am now fishing reels worth two hundred and fifty dollars and rods worth just under two hundred dollars. I mainly fish Lake Casitas mainly for Largemouth Bass. I have been in the NewsPaper several times for fishing tournaments and catching big bass.I normally fish at least twice a week. I like to travel new places to fish too. Like the Matilija Dam and in New York where my grandma lives there is a river two minutes away for me to fish and catch Smallmouth Bass.
I have fished tournaments at Lake Casitas and came in tenth place out of forty other anglers. Most people who fish the tournaments are adults and I am one out of three two kids that fish the tournaments and I am the youngest out there. I have been given baits from professional more than once.All and all fishing is a way for me to be in my own world. It’s a place where i can go and do what I love best. In the future I hope to be a pro that kids and other people to look up to like i do to other guys and hope to make a living off of it.
