The faint radiant glow of the clouds part to reveal the Moon ,irradiate, unpigmented, and glaring overhead. The Moon gives life to light that cascades slowly down to my window seal.I sit in my room, the light of the moon gets sucked up,adsorbed, devoured until the only thing giving way to a remote speck of detail is my laptop. My parents aren't home,I smile.Regardless of whether or not my parents were at the house I would still have the same level of freedom but it doesn't feel like that.
Arnold Schopenhauer once said “A man can be himself only so long as he is alone, and if he does not love solitude, he will not love freedom, for it is only when he is alone that he is really free” .This quote perfectly describe how I feel about being alone, when nobody is around I am truly free to do what I want an enjoy it because when I am in a crowd I am subjected to them.People are pushed to fit in the culture of where they live which tries and molds them into what they believe people should look, act, and dress like. When you are alone, isolated, and in solitude you are free from those external pressure of the culture you live in,you no longer have to be what society suspects you to be you are yourself in a pure uncoerced form. But even though I am an introvert there is a balance,I am not wholly introverted like every extrovert isn't wholly extroverted.A world in which everyone was either completely introverted or extroverted would be a nightmare, people tuck away into absolute isolation without any desire to communicate to another human or the opposite people caught in this opium of socializing completely engrossed in a swarming hive mind of social buzzing.
Balance need to be found in introversion vs extroversion because these two things have redeemable attributes yes introversion and its quest to seek alone time is important because it allows us to seek a level of freedom not found in social sciences but we need social interactions we cannot live out on our own.Humans are naturally altruistic and we need to stick together .
All and all this equipoise of introversion and extroversion is vital and necessary it creates a balance that allows us to find a level of freedom not found in the buzzing society we live in and on the extroverted side allows us to communicate with people and show a more altruistic side.
