I was born on August 19 of 2000, in a city called Oxnard but I grew up as a child in Ventura. I am glad I moved to Ventura and got to grow up here because it is such a wonderful city, full of palm trees, and its beautiful beach. And it is also very different from Oxnard and much cleaner. If I would have been born in Oxnard my life would have been so different, and I would have not got the opportunity to come to such a great school like Foothill Technology.

Throughout life I have had a passion for learning and a curiosity to find out new things. I have seen my parents struggle at some points, which has taught me that life is not easy and to never give up. My parents have also taught me how to be independent and self-motivated by providing me opportunities to learn from my own errors. I have also been involved in a program called AVID which has helped me shape my dreams. AVID is an important part in my life too because it has shown me how to succeed and it has motivated me to go to college even more.

Dreams are shaped by beliefs we gasp so strongly. When I grow up I want to save and change lives through a medical career. My brother taught me the lesson of change because he has never gave up and has stayed a positive person even with his problem. He has also taught me to care for those in need and to see the world differently. I know I am only in freshman year but I know I want to study a medical career, I like the idea of helping people, because helping people can make a change in the world, and I want to make a change in the world. I want to learn how to be an even more caring, hardworking, inspiring, and influential person.

I have much to owe my family and I will repay all they have given me and taught me as a child, and know, trough everything I will and have accomplished and who I become. I am just steps closer to the future I want to have. And through everything I have experienced and learned in my life I know I am going to make it just right.
