I was born January 22, 2000 in somewhat of a small town called Santa Rosa, California. Santa Rosa is my home town and it is roughly about 30 miles from San Francisco. I lived in San Francisco for five years then my mom got a job offer in Ventura so that’s I came to live in Ventura.

Moving wasn’t a really big deal because I had not started school yet so I really didn’t have any friends, and most of my family were located in Carpinteria. I started kindergarten at Elmhurst elementary school in 2005 and I went to Elmhurst all five years. Those five years were mostly about getting good with the city and meeting new people, it was a challenge at first but I say around third grade I felt like I became a part of this city. I meat one of my best friends in third grade, I made my third grade teacher retire and I got my first ever soccer trophy (not just a participation trophy my team had won the division).

My first five year in Ventura were great but then I went to middle school and it seemed like my whole life had changed. I had to change the friends I had and actually had to pay attention in class because I was getting a grade which I was not use to in elementary. And my old friends were starting to join Gangs and there was no way I was going to be a part of that. So I ended up make two new groups of friends, I had my soccer friends and then I had my after school friends. Even thought my old group thought I was a traitor for not messing up my life as they did there’s.

Then I came to Foothill, previously I did not won’t to attend foothill because most of my friends were going to Buena but I had no choice what so ever so I had to suck it up and go to foothill. Starting high school wasn’t as bad as I had thought it would be, I had started making new friends and recognizing older friends. I’m happy that I attend foothill because I feel that it would befit me in the long run. And that is how I came to be in Ventura.
