I grew up with many people that embraced their lives to the fullest, spread happiness, and were very loving. I was born in Ventura, California but spent the first five years of my life in Prescott, Arizona. I was exposed to many adventures, and grew up always having an amazing garden. When I lived in Arizona, I never thought life could be any better. I loved the weather there. In summer, it would be so hot that sometimes you would see people walking in swimsuits, even though they weren't planning on going swimming. In winter, that quickly changed. Many times school got cancelled because there was too much snow fall. I never really realized how many great things were available in Arizona until I moved. My mom and I would always go on hikes, and drive out in the middle of no where, just for an adventure. There was so much open space there, and compared to Ventura, I really miss that advantage. Although, now nothing in my mind could ever beat Ventura. I am in love with living here. The beach, downtown, two trees, the gorgeous sunsets. Everything about it is perfect in my eyes. Experiencing two very different places of the world, has shown me how many options there are in life.
My family has been a HUGE part of my life. My family is a bunch of nonchalant free-thinking people, that love to plant, make healthy vegetables for dinner, and make sure happiness is spread through others at all times. We arent forced to be this way, its just a lifestyle. Growing up based on our earth has definitely changed my perspective on many things. Its helped me understand the backgrounds of people, and nature. Also, the way people look at the world. Some people realize the activities they can experience, while others aren't into exploring. Its probably benefited me the most into making me into a more peaceful and experimental person.
One of my dreams is to work with Naturopathic medicine . Being raised around earthly things, has inspired me to help others based on the resources out there. To me healing within resources not created by man is amazing. The way I grew up definitely has changed how I look at things, and if it weren't for being raised this way, I probably wouldn't be interested in the things that I am interested in today.
