I am Jordan and I am extremely creative. My dad is an amazing artist and my mom is a creative writer. I am surrounded in a world of creativity and I am really lucky to have that. When I am looking for a career, I want to be a director. For more than one reason, I am creative so I can think of a plot line and I am a scorpio, and scorpios are the leader of the zodiac. I think I first realized I was so creative when I was about five.
I was helping my mom cook dinner. I was standing on this stool we had, I feel onto the hot stove and got a crescent burn mark on my arm. Instead of most kids just looking at the burn mark as a shape and a bad memory. I looked at it as a smiley face. I even drew eyes and outlined it. I’m older now so it’s a tad bit harder to see, but it’s there.
The older I am getting my art skills are improving. I enjoy drawing and I hope they can become even better. It’s hard to say whether I want to be a writer or a director. Yet a director is the best of both worlds. I know I will never be the worlds greatest artist because if that award should go to anyone it should be my dad. Not the artists who draw two lines on a piece of paper and say it symbolizes something. It should be the people that take time in their art and when it’s done you can look at it and say, ‘that is truly a masterpiece.’ Enough about this topic the more I type this the angrier I get.
I love reading don’t get me wrong, just I want things to happen to grab your attention then they slow down then they just speed back up to end it. I love books like that, I love fiction, and I love fantasy. I know love is a strong word but I shall use it as I please.
When I draw I feel like I kind of escape into my own world. My dad is an artist so seeing his drawings really inspire me. I feel like one day I can be as great as him. He is a construction worker so being an artist helps with drawing out the plan.
I think the main reason I want to be a director is because I love making videos. I love watching how they edit, what editing software, what camera, what microphone. If I could I would analyze a video down to the core. I mean I could but it would be a lot of questions. My world around me is really creative, from my dad being an artist to my mom being a creative writer. I am surrounded by creativity.Eventually I know being in this creative environment will lead to great things in the future. BYE!
