Ever sence I was little I always remembered my dad saying,"You need to play a sport, or do something because your not going to sit at home all day." That's when I started looking for a sport, and after a few years I found out about water polo. This sport is what has shaped me to this day.

Water polo is a sport I enjoy. It has allowed me to make friends and it has kept me physically fit. The friend s that I have made are still in my life. I even hang out with them at my school. We occasionally talk about practice and what we will be doing in practice later that day or even a game that is weeks away. This sport also shapes my afternoons with the practices from 6:00-8:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I often miss dinner, but the time in the pool takes the hunger away. This sport also keeps me fit and that always a good thing to see when you wake up. This also gives me the option to eat dessert and still stay fit. Water polo has also taught me that nothing comes easy, and now I use that "motto" to work hard at practice and on my acidemics. I work hard and study often, and I still manage to go to practice. This sport effects everything I do and it has been this way ever sence 4th grade.

Water polo is the best thing that could have happened to me. Because of the sport I now have made many friends and have learned many valuable lessons. Water polo has given me many things and I wouldn't give it up for anything.
