I remember driving to a basketball tournament listening to me and mom's favorite road trip music. When we started talking about the most randomest things for example why are there more people that have been in space and not to the bottom of our oceans. When my mom started to stare at me with this really weird look i haven't seen before. I ask her what's wrong and she said i don't understand where you come up with these question. That got me to think of things i never of thought of before.

That is a reason i love to think outside the box not normal things no one really likes to think about. The day was cold and the wind blew my hair practically of my head when i saw this homeless guy sitting on the corner in the freezing cold with only a shirt and pants no socks or shoes, nothing to keep him warm. So this idea came in my head to give the homeless some warmer clothes for winter. That weekend i set up a clothing drive and my whole basketball team helped me and it was the best feeling you can have when you help someone. That feeling of helping someone is why i want to be a therapist or someone who can make a difference in the world.

My mom is the reason i am the way i am because she is such a strong and driven mom that i want to be her and she understands me in a way that is more than a prenant but a friend. Our relationship is strong because our family went through some hard times with my parents getting divorced and my mom having to go back to school to get a job it was hard. But i remember not seeing her on the weekends or staying at my nans till 11 then having my mom come pick me up.She would always say that you have to work hard for what you want. That is always in my mind at school when it's a big test or an essay. Always work hard and the rest will follow is my mom’s life quote for me.

The hard worker in me is to show my mom that even though she wasn't around all the time she still impacted me to be a great person. The day i know what i wanted to do with my life was in middle school. i had to do community serves and i picked the boys and girls club to help out and it was amazing having the kids come up to you and ask for your help with anything and the feeling of being there for the kids is great. Life has ups and downs its how you bounce back from the downs and keep yourself composed in the ups that show who you are as a person and the way the world has shaped you no matter what the world is in your mind.
