I was born December 9, 1999 in Santa Barbara, California. My parents had me when my mom was 19 and my dad was 23. Santa Barbara really is beautiful with its beaches and tourist attractions, but i wouldn’t stay in Santa Barbara long enough to grow up near the beaches. my first birthday was in North Carolina. We stayed there for a while, but then we came back home.

Growing up my family and I moved a lot. I don’t remember most of it but we would constantly move around, we never moved out of the state again because my grandparents had a hard time not having me around. I mean it makes sense because I was their first granddaughter. I’ve always received much love from my family. They are always there for me , even when I’m not so nice to them or when I’m being annoying.I think that’s what kind of made me into who I am now.

I honestly try to be kind to others but it’s hard because I always choose to be nice to people who are flat out rude and don’t care about other people’s feelings. Even though I try to be nice and more than often fail at it, it’s the constant kindness that my family shows towards me that reminds me to be a nicer person. My mother always tells me that not all people are going to accept kindness, but the least I can do is try, so I do. My friends who have actually met my family say that they’re so nice and my family treats them like they are part of the family. My best friend call my mom her mom. I honestly really want to be as nice as my family is, even though sometimes it looks like I don’t try.

The love of my family has definitely shaped me into who I am now and who I hope to be in the near future. Luckily I have a family who shows me unconditional love and kindness. I think that it’s crazy how they can be nice to people who are so rude, but I strive to be like them. They believe that everyone needs to have a chance to accept someone else’s kindness and if they refuse it then it’s their loss.
