I was born in Oxnard in 2001 but I pretty much grew up in ventura my whole life. Living in a coastal area the weather was mostly hot which made me an outdoor person. I would hike, play soccer, and everything that required physical activities. Growing up with an alcoholic father has really made me a serious person, but I don’t mind. Now that my parents are separated my siblings and I have weekend visits with my dad so we can spend enough time with either parent.

I guess people think it’s normal for children to be moving from house to house, but I don’t see anything normal in that. My extended family always wants to know what's going on in my life but I have learned to keep things to myself over time. I live in a humble community filled with children and hard workers. I consider my neighbors as family mainly because their always their for us, like when something breaks down and they always wish us the best. I have learned to study hard but never forget where I came from or my values.

Coming and being apart of foothill is amazing not only for me but for my siblings that will be coming soon. School has really made me think deeper and helping me find my way to success. School is also helping me find something that I love to do. I knew that when I started health class it would be fun and it is. The way Mrs. Ferris explains what the human body is made of and what good and bad for you has really opened my eyes to the medical field. So I guess my life it’s magical but it’s the perfect fit for me.
